Days of our Lives 2-Week Spoilers May 25-June 5: Gwen RAGES, Abe Confesses & 2 Death Anniversaries!
The two weeks of May 25th through June 5th are about to set Salem ablaze.
From Gwen Riek’s fury over a devastating betrayal to Abe Carver dropping a confession nobody saw coming, the drama is stacking higher than the DiMera mansion’s gates. Buckle up — because this is going to be a bumpy ride through Memorial Day and beyond.
Memorial Day — No Preemptions, Just Chaos
Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day, and thanks to Peacock, there’s no rerun. For once, the holiday doesn’t steal our soap. And Salem is using that airtime well.
Jennifer and Jack return to town for Abby’s four-year death anniversary, and the tension between them is immediate. Jack mentions to Jennifer that he visited Gwen — that he wants her to be part of their lives. Jennifer, meanwhile, is comparing their kids to cupcakes — vanilla and chocolate. But let’s be honest: in Jennifer’s eyes, Gwen is less a sweet treat and more a spoiled batch no one wants to eat. The question is whether Jack will finally stand up for his right to have a relationship with his other daughter, or whether he’ll let Jennifer’s bitterness push Gwen further into the cold.
JJ Deveraux is also back in Salem for his sister’s deathversary. If you recall, JJ left town to clear his head after a catastrophic failure on the job. He froze during a confrontation — didn’t fire when he should have — and Shawn Brady wound up shot. The guilt has been eating him alive. His return is bound to stir old wounds and new conflicts.
Amy Choy’s Heartbreak: Sophia’s Body Recovered
The river gives up its darkest secret this week.
Amy Choy is crushed by what is recovered from the water — and it appears to be Sophia’s body. The confirmation hits like a freight train. Amy, already drowning in grief, begins talking about vengeance. She wants Holly Jonas prosecuted for manslaughter. She’s seen at the pub, speaking to someone — possibly her husband, Jason Choy — and her rage is palpable. A grieving mother’s wrath is a terrifying thing, and Amy is just getting started.
Meanwhile, Tate is pressing Holly to do the right thing. Whether that means confessing, cooperating, or attending Sophia’s memorial remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: this storyline is hurtling toward a devastating conclusion.
Philip in Dress Blues — A Nod to the Fallen
In a beautiful touch for Memorial Day, Philip Kiriakis dons his Marine dress blues and heads to the Brady Pub. He approaches Amy to offer his condolences for her loss. It’s a rare moment of solemnity from the prodigal son, and it lands hard given the number of veterans Salem has honored over the years.
Later, Philip opens up to Brady — not about the uniform or the holiday, but about Gabby’s treachery. Her corporate spying nearly toppled Titan Industries. Philip is raw, betrayed, and looking for an ally. But will Brady join him in hating on Gabby, or will he counsel calm? The answer could reshape the Kiriakis family dynamics for months.
Gabby and Gwen: Margaritas and Malice
Two scorned women, one table, infinite fury.
Gabby is devastated that Philip dumped her, but she’s also furious at herself for getting caught. Gwen is livid at Xander — and at EJ, too. And if Gwen discovers that Xander has been two-timing her with Crazy Kristen? All hell breaks loose. The tea (or margaritas) these two share this week is laced with resentment and scheming.
Meanwhile, Sarah makes a provocative move. She kisses Brady in front of Xander — possibly to provoke him, to push him away, to stop him from moving in. Sarah wants Xander to reconsider staying under her roof, and she’s not above playing dirty to make it happen.
Tuesday: Hard Truths and Fragile Truces
On Tuesday, May 26th, Xander and Sarah admit some difficult truths. They still love each other — that much is painfully obvious. And watching each other move on with other people is tearing them both apart.
Jennifer discusses a truce with Cat. She still despises her, but civility is necessary if they’re going to coexist in Salem. This small opening could be the crack that allows Chad and Cat to explore a real relationship down the road.
