Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) reaches breaking point, Tyrone Dobbs’ (Alan Halsall) guilt gets the better of him and the true extent of Sam Blakeman’s (Jude Riordan) illness is revealed in this week’s Coronation Street spoiler videos.

Summoned to hospital to visit an unwell Summer, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is absolutely horrified that not only did she land herself in there, but that her mental state is in tatters following her imprisonment.

Tyrone, unable to fight through the guilt and shame of what he’s done to Summer, finally unburdens himself to his horrified wife, Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine), convinced that Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) knows he was behind his grievous injuries.

As Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) desperately try to reach a spiralling Sam, he’s confronted by both his hallucinated version of Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and the real thing as his mental health crisis reaches a terrifying crescendo.

Before the main course, how about three tasty treats for starters? Bon apetit!

Sunday, June 7

Todd is wholly unprepared to find Summer in the state she’s in. Despite initially railing at the prison officer present for her falling ill, Summer explains that she herself turned off her insulin pump because she can’t bear life in prison.

Todd tries his best to rally some fight in her, but it’s all in vain as she’s utterly broken. Struggling with how best to approach the situation, Todd’s at a total loss.

With it painfully apparent that she’s completely defeated, can Todd, or anyone convince Summer that there’s hope?

Monday, June 8

Crushed under the weight of his guilt over Summer, Tyrone can’t hold it in any longer as Fiz gently presses him on what’s been bothering him recently.

Admitting that he knows Summer didn’t kill Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), but he lied to the police to conceal his own part in what happened to Carl that fateful night, and that he’s almost certain that Carl knows.

Sam’s mental health reaches crisis point as he hides in Roy’s Rolls as Will and Leanne desperately try to reach him.

As his horrific vision of Roy continues to terrorise him, warning him that Will is trying to kill him, the real Roy emerges. Confronted with two versions of his friend, Sam falters further, terrified by his surroundings.

The nightmare facing Summer Spellman is far from over, and the coming days promise even more heartbreak as her loved ones struggle to save her from a dangerous downward spiral.

After witnessing Summer’s devastating condition in hospital, Todd Grimshaw finds himself haunted by her words. Her admission that she deliberately switched off her insulin pump sends shockwaves through everyone who cares about her. While Summer insists she simply cannot cope with life behind bars, Todd begins to fear that the situation is much more serious than anyone realized.

Desperate to help, Todd reaches out to Billy Mayhew and Paul Foreman, hoping they can convince Summer that her future is worth fighting for. However, every attempt to lift her spirits seems to push her further away. The once determined young woman appears completely defeated, leaving her family terrified that she may have already given up on herself.

As news of Summer’s condition spreads through Weatherfield, tensions rise among those who believe she has been treated unfairly. Several residents question whether the investigation into Theo Silverton’s death was handled properly, and whispers begin to circulate that the truth has yet to emerge.

Meanwhile, Tyrone Dobbs continues to crumble beneath the burden of his guilt. Confessing everything to Fiz was supposed to bring relief, but instead it only deepens his misery. With every passing day, Tyrone becomes more convinced that Carl Webster knows exactly what happened on the night that changed all their lives.

Unable to sleep and constantly looking over his shoulder, Tyrone starts seeing threats everywhere. Every unexpected phone call makes him jump. Every encounter with Carl leaves him shaken. His fear becomes so obvious that even his daughters begin asking questions.

Fiz, although horrified by what she has learned, finds herself trapped in an impossible position. She loves her husband, but she cannot ignore the possibility that an innocent woman is suffering because of his lies. Torn between loyalty and conscience, she wrestles with whether she should encourage Tyrone to come forward.

Their marriage soon comes under enormous strain. Conversations turn into arguments, and arguments turn into emotional confrontations. Fiz cannot understand how Tyrone allowed things to go this far, while Tyrone insists he never intended for Summer to become the scapegoat.

The pressure reaches breaking point when Tyrone receives an unexpected warning that sends chills down his spine. Suddenly convinced that exposure is imminent, he begins considering a dramatic course of action that could destroy everything he has built.

Elsewhere, the situation involving young Sam Blakeman grows increasingly alarming.

Ever since the traumatic events that have shaken his life, Sam has been struggling to separate reality from fear. While Leanne Battersby and Will Driscoll desperately attempt to support him, neither fully understands the terrifying battle taking place inside his mind.

The hallucinations become more frequent and more convincing. The image of Roy Cropper that appears before him no longer feels like a harmless vision. Instead, it becomes a frightening presence that feeds his anxieties and reinforces his darkest fears.

As Sam’s mental health deteriorates, he starts withdrawing from those who care about him. He avoids school, ignores concerned messages, and spends increasing amounts of time alone. Nick Tilsley notices the change immediately but struggles to reach his son.

Determined to help, Nick seeks professional advice. However, arranging treatment proves more complicated than expected. While doctors stress the importance of immediate intervention, Sam’s reluctance to engage creates significant obstacles.

The situation takes a terrifying turn when Sam disappears unexpectedly.

Panic spreads through Weatherfield as family members launch a desperate search. With no indication of where he has gone, fears quickly escalate. Nick is consumed by guilt, blaming himself for not recognizing how severe Sam’s condition had become.

Leanne joins the search effort, refusing to give up hope despite the growing sense of dread. Every minute that passes only heightens concerns for Sam’s safety.

When he is finally located hiding inside Roy’s Rolls, the discovery brings little comfort. Sam remains trapped in a frightening world where reality and imagination have become hopelessly blurred.

The emotional confrontation that follows is among the most powerful moments of the week.

Faced with both the hallucinated Roy and the real Roy standing before him, Sam becomes overwhelmed. Unable to determine whom he can trust, he lashes out in fear. Those present are left devastated as they witness the full extent of his psychological crisis.

Roy himself is deeply affected by what he sees. Having always shared a special bond with Sam, he is heartbroken to realize how much the young boy has been suffering in silence. Determined to help, Roy offers patience and understanding when others begin losing hope.

However, even Roy’s calm presence may not be enough.

Medical professionals warn that Sam requires urgent and ongoing support if he is to recover. The road ahead will be long, and setbacks are inevitable. For Nick, the warning serves as a painful reminder that love alone cannot solve every problem.

As the week draws to a close, the lives of Summer, Tyrone and Sam become increasingly intertwined.

Summer remains trapped between despair and the possibility of redemption. Tyrone stands on the edge of a confession that could change multiple lives forever. Sam continues fighting a battle that few people fully understand.

And looming over all three stories is one critical question: how much longer can they endure before everything finally falls apart?

With secrets threatening to explode, relationships hanging by a thread, and mental health crises reaching dangerous new levels, Weatherfield is heading toward one of its most emotional and explosive chapters yet.

The consequences of the choices made in the coming days will not simply affect those directly involved. Families will be divided, friendships tested, and long-buried truths dragged into the light.

For Summer, hope may still exist—but only if she can find the strength to believe in it.

For Tyrone, redemption remains possible—but only if he is willing to face the truth.

And for Sam, the support of those who love him may be the only thing standing between recovery and complete collapse.

One thing is certain: viewers should prepare themselves for a rollercoaster of emotion as these heartbreaking storylines continue to unfold across Coronation Street.
